“A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.”
Over the last four months we have made an incredible journey from Doha to Kuala Lumpur and then to Canberra. That’s about 12,000km from one corner of the world to another.
We are happy to share that we are settling into life down under and making a new home for ourselves.
We were delighted to be able to spend a month in Malaysia over Christmas and New Year catching up with family, friends and food. We then left for Canberra on January 25.
I thank God that we managed to get the boys into school two weeks after our arrival and and also find a house to rent nearby. Its a small school with 150 students and very spacious grounds, including kangaroos in the forest reserve next door.
This is our fourth move in the last seven year so we are hoping to settle down for a while to give the boys time to grow up.
What’s it like moving to Australia? Well exciting and scary at the same time. Starting from square one is tough but its what we wanted so we learn to take small steps and adapt to our new habitat.
We promise to keep you updated on our journey and would love to hear how you are keeping.
