Our biggest threat is not rogue states, terrorist organisations or even corrupt politicians but is hidden away in plain sight.

If we are sincere in dealing with the many external issues plaguing our world, we must first uncover and deal with the “elephant in the room”.

The EGO or False Self

Blind spots in our field of vision prevent us from seeing reality.

Our false self or ego prevents us from seeing what’s wrong with us [our own worldview] because we wrongly believe we are always right.

Self-awareness is the first step to freedom

The ability to draw back and examine our own thoughts and motives is crucial to being able to clearly see so that we can first remove the log from our own eye and then help remove the speck in our brother’s eye.

Hypocrite! First get rid of the log in your own eye; then you will see well enough to deal with the speck in your friend’s eye.
